Oplus has launched its all new XonPad 7. The 7-inch tablet is now listed on Snapdeal for Rs 9,990.The XonPad 7 sports a 7-inch IPS HD display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. It’s one of the few budget devices to come with voice calling functionality. The tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor with 1GB of RAM, and runs on the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
Oplus XonPad packs in 16GB onboard storage that can be further extended up to 32GB via its memory card slot. The tablet supports 3G network SIM too. On the connectivity front, it also supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Oplus has added a 5MP rear camera with video recording capability and autofocus, and a 2MP front-facing camera for video conferencing. All of this is fuelled by a 3500mAh battery.
If you take a look at the specs sheet of the XonPad 7, it is almost similar to the older Nexus 7 model which carries a similar price tag too. Oplus is a new entrant in the tablet space, and obviously not a known brand name. Owing to the fierce competition in the tablet space, we wonder how the company plans to bring in recognition to its products.
